Exercise of the week: Burpees over the bar

What is it?

A great cardio sequence which involves repeatedly jumping over a barbell and into a push up position.

What does it do?

This is a challenging exercise which will test your strength and endurance!

How to do it?

From a standing position, lower your body to the top of a push up position and complete a push up. At the top of your push up jump your feet forward and outside your hands so you land in the bottom of your squat position. From the bottom of the squat, jump straight up in the air and repeat. The test is to see how many you can achieve while keeping good form!
