What is it and what does it do?
Want to strengthen and tone those upper arms? The overhead tricep extension is a great exercise for this, primarily working the tricep muscles!
How to do it:
To begin, stand up with a barbell or you also perform the exercise with a dumbbell in each hand. Your feet should be about shoulder width apart from each other. Slowly and using a controlled movement lift the weight over your head until both arms are fully extended. The palms of the hands should be facing up towards the ceiling. Keeping your upper arms close to your head with your elbows tucked, lower the resistance behind your head until your forearms touch your biceps. The upper arms should remain stable while your forearms perform the movement.
