Healthier Easter treats

Homemade guilt-free chocolate orange

Melt together 100g coconut oil, 50g unsweetened cocoa powder, 1tsp orange essence and 2 tbsp maple syrup then pop in the fridge in the fridge to set.

Chocolate nut balls

Either buy blended nuts or pop several handfuls of cashews/almonds/macadamia nuts (for example) or nut butter, into a blender that can cope with such a task.

Blend until all blitzed up to an even consistency. Add 2/3 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder. Then add two teaspoons of honey and two- three teaspoons of melted coconut oil into the bowl. Mix together with your hands till you have a dough like mixtureAdd 2 tsp of honey and 2 tsp of melted coconut oil and mix with you rhands until a dough forms. Roll out into bitesize balls and pop in the fridge to set. Enjoy!

Salted caramel sauce - perfect for dipping

Blitz in a food processor 200g dates, 3 teaspoons of almond butter, 1 tbsp maple syrup and a little water until you have a dipping consistency. Delicious with pieces of fruit or the cocoa balls!
